Verified by Vanguard: how to check a Vanguard Laboratory peptide COA

By · Published · updated · vendor-authored explanatory note

Short answer

Vanguard Laboratory (Olympia, WA) publishes reports on its Verified by Vanguard portal, searchable by the brand name on the certificate plus the report, product or lot. The lab is A2LA-accredited (certificate 6377.01), but peptide purity and quantity testing are not in that accreditation scope. 4 of our 5 Vanguard reports had a lab-hosted record when we last checked (2026-10-31); each one is linked below.

Step by step

Vanguard's Verified by Vanguard portal searches by the brand name printed on the certificate plus the report, product or lot.

  1. Note the brand name printed on the certificate and the report, product or lot shown on it.
  2. Type verifiedbyvanguard.com yourself and open its search page, rather than following a link or QR code from an unknown source.
  3. Search by the brand name plus the report, product or lot.
  4. Open the lab's record and compare it with your copy: compound, sample description or lot, report date, purity and quantity.
  5. If the record is missing or any value differs, treat the certificate as unconfirmed and contact the lab.

Cap-color sample IDs

Some certificates identify the sample only by a description such as a cap color. A color is not a lot number: many batches can share it. A report like that confirms what the tested sample contained, but it cannot by itself tie your vial to that sample. Ask the seller for the lot-level report, or for written confirmation that your vial came from the tested batch.

What the accreditation covers

Vanguard Laboratory is an A2LA-accredited lab (certificate 6377.01); peptide purity and quantity testing are not in its accreditation scope. ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation applies to the tests listed on the lab's scope, so check the scope on the A2LA directory rather than the logo alone.

A certificate describes the tested sample. It does not establish sterility, safety or suitability for any use. Research use only; not for human or animal use.
