Free COA checklist embed and lot badges for lab sites

Short answer
Lab blogs, journal clubs, core facilities and procurement wikis can embed a compact eight-point checklist for reading a research peptide certificate of analysis. It is a single block of plain HTML with inline styles: no JavaScript, no iframe and no tracking, so it loads with your page and works under strict content security policies. One small attribution line links back to the full checklist.
COA checklist card
- Lot number on the vial matches the lot on the report
- A named, contactable laboratory issued the report
- Compound and labeled amount match the vial
- Sample and report dates are present
- Purity is a number with its method (e.g. RP-HPLC)
- A chromatogram or peak table backs the purity figure
- Identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry (LC-MS or MALDI)
- Measured quantity is reported

</a>What the checklist covers
The card condenses the full ten-point COA checklist into the eight checks that decide whether a report is about the material in hand and what it actually shows: lot match, issuing laboratory, compound and amount, dates, purity with its method, the chromatogram behind the purity figure, mass-spectrometry identity, and measured quantity. Each item maps to a definition in the lab and QC glossary, so readers who want more depth have somewhere to go.
The content is deliberately vendor-neutral. It applies to a report from any supplier, and it does not rate, rank or endorse any product.
How to embed it
Copy the code in the box below and paste it wherever your site accepts raw HTML. Common places:
- WordPress: add a 'Custom HTML' block in the block editor and paste the code.
- Ghost: use an HTML card.
- Squarespace and Wix: use the Code block or Embed HTML element.
- Static sites (Hugo, Jekyll, Astro, Next.js): paste into a page or partial; Markdown renderers that allow inline HTML will render it as-is.
- Internal wikis (Confluence, MediaWiki with HTML enabled): use the HTML macro or tag your platform provides.
- Lab notebooks and printed SOPs: the list also reads fine as plain text if HTML is stripped.
Customizing
You may change colors, width, font and spacing to match your site, translate the items, or reorder them. Please keep the attribution line and the research-use-only note, and keep the link text as the brand name rather than a keyword phrase. The link carries rel="nofollow noopener" by default, because Google's spam policies treat keyword-rich or low-quality links embedded in widgets distributed across many sites as link spam, and nofollow tells search engines not to treat the link as an endorsement. Leaving it that way is completely fine with us; we will never ask you to remove nofollow.
Per-lot 'COA published' badges
If you are citing a specific Vitality Chems lot in a methods section, protocol or write-up, you can use a small badge that links to that lot's public report page. A badge shows only fields printed on the report itself: lot number, issuing laboratory, report date and method. Badges exist only for lots with a traceable lot ID; samples identified only by a cap color have no badge because a color is not a unique batch identifier.
A badge is a pointer to a document, not a quality claim. Readers should still open the report and run the checklist against it.
Privacy and performance
Nothing in either snippet calls our servers until a reader clicks the link. There are no images, fonts, cookies or scripts to load, and no analytics. The markup uses an ordered list and a real link, so it works with screen readers and in reader modes.

Frequently asked
Is the embed free to use?
Yes. Use it on any site, wiki or internal page. We only ask that the attribution line and research-use-only note stay intact.
Why is the link nofollow?
Google's spam policies list keyword-rich or low-quality widget links distributed across sites as link spam, and our own backlink policy avoids widget links that try to pass ranking signals. The card is meant to help readers, not to manipulate rankings.
Does the badge mean Vitality Chems recommends a product?
No. It points to the published lab report for one lot so readers can check the record themselves.
